Oman Cement Company SAOG (OCC) was set up in the year 1978 as a component of the renaissance started by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos canister Said.
Bond plant with a clinker limit of 600,000 MTS for every annum was authorized in 1983 and in this way because of expansion interest for the concrete in the area, plant limit was extended to 1.2 Million tons for every annum in the year 1998, which empowered OCC to create 1.26 Million tons of bond.
In 2006, Company has introduced a Cement Grinding Mill with a limit of 3000 MTS for every day. Further establishment of third clinker line to expand the clinker generation limit from 1.2 Million MTS to 2.4 Million MTS for every annum has been charged amid year 2011.
